East Gaston High School Class T-shirts are available for preorder for sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Order and pay by July 24 to pick up your shirt at the open house on August 10. Freshman will receive their shirt for pick up at orientation on August 5.
Rising freshmen and their families are invited to attend Freshman Orientation on Tuesday, August 5, beginning at 9 a.m. Students will receive important information to help them prepare for a successful start to their high school journey.
Parents are encouraged to attend a special information session from 10:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. to learn more about the Academy of Health and Human Services and how to support their student's transition to high school. Topics will include academics, extracurricular activities, bus transportation, and opportunities to get involved through the Athletic Booster Club and PTO.

East Gaston High School will host a Drop-In Open House for students in grades 10–12 on Monday, August 10 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
This is a great opportunity for students and families to pick up schedules, meet teachers, and get ready for a successful school year.
