East Gaston High School marching band students perform in the Marching Band Fanfare.

East Gaston High School offers students the chance to explore their creativity through our Fine Arts program. Students can take part in:

Band – Play instruments and perform in concerts and marching band. Courses include:

  • Beginning / Intermediate / Proficient Honors / Advanced Honors
  • Concert
  • Leadership in Band
  • Jazz Ensemble A & B
  • Group Piano

Chorus – Sing in groups and take part in school and community performances. Courses include:

  • Beginning / Intermediate / Proficient Honors / Advanced Honors
  • Leadership in Chorus
  • Treble Choir
  • AP Music Theory
  • Gaston County Choral Ensemble - A & B

Art – Learn to draw, paint, and create in different styles. Courses include:

  • Beginning / Intermediate / Proficient Honors / Advanced Honors
