Marine Corps JROTC

East Gaston High School is one of five schools in Gaston County that offers a JROTC program. The Marine Corps Junior ROTC at East Gaston develops a foundational knowledge of citizenship and public service while also establishing habits of self discipline and problem solving.

About the Program
Each week, cadets participate in physical training and conduct uniform inspections. Instruction also includes basic drill (marching), organization and time management, public speaking, current events and history, marksmanship, and lifesaving. Personal grooming standards must confirm with the Marine Corps regulations.
